Ukraine Little League Baseball

  FYI, I will be in Ukraine March 19 - April 1 (trip 55) to visit potential  sites for the two of the scheduled  baseball Championships, present the Little League baseball and softball program to teachers in Ivano - Frankivsk, meet with Mr. Sergiy Bubka, Head of the National Olympic of Ukraine, meet with officials in the Ukraine Ministry of Sports, conduct softball practices at the Ostroh Academy (University) and meet with various Little League Presidents and baseball coaches to further expand the baseball and softball program for children ages 5 - 18.

 

What are the Ukraine Little League Championships Baseball Needs for 2010?

 First: 11th annual Ukraine Little League Championships for children 11 and 12 from schools. Dates : June 16 - 20. Place: TBA

 

 Teams are responsible for their transportation costs and housing costs.

 

I promised to cover the meal costs, cultural program costs, awards and medals. You can help here financially. Any donation will help.

 

 Second: first Ukraine Junior Championships for children 13 and 14 years old from schools and from orphanages.

Teams are responsible for their housing costs and meal costs. I promised to cover the transportation costs to and from the Championship site and the costs for awards and medals.You can help here financially. Any donation will help.

 

 Please note that an orphanage may want to send their team to this Championship, in that case you may wish to help pay for their housing and / or meal costs. If so, please make that known to me. 

Dates: September 29 - October 3 in Kremenets, Ternopil oblast.
