8th Annual Ukraine Little League Baseball Championships (ages 11-12)

Site: Illichivsk, Ukraine (near Odessa)
Dates: June 5 - 10, 2007
Leagues: 8 All star teams participated, most ever. 93 players, and one girl.

Kirovograd LL 10 - Donetsk LL 0, Kirovograd finishes in third place

Illichivsk LL 17 - Kyiv LL 16. 

Illichivsk LL captures its first Ukraine LL Baseball Championships.

Illichivsk LL now advances to the EMEA Regional Baseball Championships in Kutno, Poland in August of 2007 to represent Ukraine LL.

Michigan:

The official name of the Championship is the Junior League (ages 13-14) Baseball World Series held in Taylor, Michigan August 12-18, 2007.

The Kirovograd / Rivne LL all-stars represented Ukraine at the EMEA Junior League Regional Championships in Kutno Poland July 11-19, 2007.

Ukraine defeated undefeated England in the final game (extra innings) by scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning after England scored twice in the top of the ninth.

Ukraine now represents the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Region at the Junior W.S. in a ten team Championships.

The Netherlands advances to the LL World Series in the USA.
